Youth Creative Dance Academy (YCDA) is a mentoring program for young girls ages 5-18 that are set on the foundations of dance. All participants in the program will be taught the concepts and elements of dance that will enable them to develop the necessary skills to mature in the arts. At YCDA, the young ladies will be offered opportunities to partake in various mentoring activities that will provide to them the fundamentals for daily advancement of the mind, body, and spirit!

 

 

YCDA houses a competition team under the name of The Astounding Divas. The team will be broken up in two (2) age groups; The Astounding Baby Dancing Divas (ages 5-12) and The Astounding Dancing Divas (ages 13-18). The team will participate in local, regional, and national dance competitions. Along with competitions, YCDA: Astounding Divas will participate in various community service activities and other activities in the Richmond and surrounding counties.
